Churh membership

At Grace Covenant Baptist Church, we believe church membership is both a privilege and a responsibility. Scripture teaches that believers are called to live together in local congregations for worship, fellowship, and mutual encouragement (Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42–47). The 1689 London Baptist Confession (Chapter 26) reminds us that Christ calls His people to gather into visible churches for their edification and obedience to His commands. Membership is more than having your name on a list, it is a covenant commitment to walk together in love, uphold sound doctrine, and care for one another as members of Christ’s body. 1. Attend Regularly

Before applying for membership, we encourage you to attend services regularly and get to know our church family, beliefs, and worship.

2. Membership Application

Complete the membership application form and submit it to one of the elders. Download link is in section below.

3. Meeting with the Elders

After reviewing your application, the elders will schedule a meeting with you. This meeting includes discussion, time for questions, and a review of your testimony and understanding of church membership.

4. Congregational Affirmation

After meeting with the elders, applicants are presented to the congregation for affirmation during a  semi-annual family conference.
